We went to Birmingham last weekend to celebrate the October birthday's in our family... Charlie, Katherine and Uncle Lester. On Saturday we rode a train out to the pumpkin patch for Charlie's birthday. The kids got their faces painted, jumped in the jumpy thing, and went on a hayride. That night we had a birthday feast with Mimi's chicken & dumplings and her famous chocolate cake.

Papa and Lola went to the Shrine Circus and got to ride a real elephant. Lola asked if he needed some gas because he was going so slow.
