It was Ice Day at the Nashville Zoo. They had ice sculptures, snow cones, snow making machines, free ice cream and face painting. Lola wanted to be a tiger. We waited in line for over 30 minutes. I tried to bribe her away with extra carousel rides, ice cream, etc, but she wasn't having it... she wanted to be a tiger.

We went to Word's family night at the Sounds Game last night. They rented the Bud deck and had hotdogs, hamburgers and BBQ for everyone, and ice cream for dessert. It was pretty funny to see all the kids running around with their Budweiser wrist bands at a Word hosted event. Lola didn't understand why she couldn't play baseball. She liked the big cat mascot.

A New Leaf

Lola went to summer camp this week at A New Leaf. This week they learned about How Things Work. She learned about gravity, pendulums, pulleys and more. She got to be a chef, work in the garden, play in the sprinklers and paint. They didn't take naps so she was exhausted when she got home every day.
