"Is it tomorrow today?"

Lola asks me this question every night when after we finish saying her prayers. It's usually in anticipation of something she's looking forward to tomorrow. It's so hard to explain that tomorrow is future tense... that when tomorrow gets here we will call it today. I usually just land on, it will be tomorrow when the sun come up. Tonight after she asked, she said "it's today, today." Maybe she's catching on.

Puddle Fun

It was a rainy week in Nashville. On Friday Papa promised Lola that she could put on her rain boots and splash in a puddle after her nap.

A few things Lola is doing these days:
She started taking a shower with Mama.
She can completely dress herself. Sometimes her shirt is on backwards.
She wears big girl panties all day. Diapers only for nap and sleeping.
She can draw a smiley face.
She loves to ride the carousel. We really like the all you can ride for $4 carousel at Opry Mills.
Her best friend is her alien puppet.
She wakes us up every morning at 6:30 by saying BOO.
She loves to ask "why?"
