Lola surprised us yesterday by pooping in the potty twice. She's been using the potty for a month or two, but this was a first. She loves to sit on the potty and read magazines. Her favorite is the Toys-R-Us catalog. Luckily she doesn't yet understand that we can go buy these toys. She'll search the whole catalog to find the page with crayons. She also likes to read Once Upon A Potty. For the first few weeks of potty training we only had the boy version, a hand me down from cousin Jack. I glossed over the boy specific parts which were few. I bought the girl version last week, but she still asks for "Joshua." We're so proud of our big girl.

It's been a beautiful week in Nashville and what better place for an energetic 19 month old to be than outside burning off some of that energy. Papa got Lola a new swingset yesterday. Our little monkey (banana included) has already mastered the slide.
