the 4th
We drove down to Birmingham last Saturday to celebrate Mimi and Kate's birthdays. Kate celebrated her 4th birthday with a Kindermusik party on Sunday. It was great fun to see all the kids dancing. Lola especially liked Ring Around the Rosy. I had some extra time off for the 4th of July, so we got to stay a couple of extra days to play with our cousins and visit friends. Lola and Charlie both mastered the word MINE. It's amazing how much more interesting the toy is that the other one has, even toys that have long been ignored. Overall they had a blast together. We came home Wednesday morning and celebrated the 4th of July with a rockin' cookout in the backyard. There were kids everywhere. The dads put on a great illegal fireworks show.

Lola's is coming up on the 29th! I can't' believe it.
I thought Lola's bday was June 29th. So then I had to go check when George's birthday was... because I thought he was July 29th. Turns out they are 366 days apart. :-)
