Tubes
After 4 ear infections in a row, the doctor said Lola fully qualified for tubes. We woke up at 5:30 on Thursday and headed to the hospital. Lola made the most of our 2 hour wait for the doctor to arrive. She played under the hospital bed, charmed the nursing staff with her constant requests for milk and played with the crayons a nurse gave her. The surgery lasted 7 minutes. She came back to us grumpy and disoriented from the anesthesia, but after some milk and a nap she was back to her happy self.
