I think Lola is going to skip crawling and move directly to walking. We moved the old round coffee table up to the living room after much urging by Nana. There are no sharp edges, although I'm sure it will provide a few bumps and bruises along the way. Apparently Papa spent a few hours walking around this table as a baby too.

Lola's First Easter

We celebrated Easter in Hot Springs with the Petillos and the Deans. Lola got to go on her first boat ride thanks to Capt. Popum. She loved the wind blowing in her face. She got lots of hugs and kisses from her cousin Jack. She unsuccessfully tried to eat the chocolate bunny in her Easter basket. Papa flew out to Colorado to go skiing with Popum, and Nana drove back to Nashville with Mama and Lola for the week. They are having a big time going on walks and swinging on our neighbor's swing. A swingset is next on our list. Let us know if you have any advice.

Lola got some new sunglasses last weekend. Like everything else, she likes them best in her mouth.

While we were in Austin last week our good friend Kristen kept Lola for the day while Tom and I were on the Salvador photoshoot. Kristen took some amazing pictures of Lola and Rosa Jane in their new kimono's. She captured Lola's personality perfectly. You can see more of her work at faux-toes.com.
