i love flying kites. i'm not joking. last spring, d.b. and i bought really cheap kites at walgreens and went to shelby park to fly them. since then, i've been sort of addicted. it must be similar to fishing or something like that. anyway, we've been taking august to the park to fly kites. he is a true natural. you can hear people's astonished comments as they walk by. tomorrow the lightners begin their return journey to sweden. we are going to miss having them around. it sure has been fun. -thomas
